OUR HISTORY

Our history as a bonified business started in 1997 when we offered services in the computer and technology space as an Independent Contractor to particularly households, schools and small business.   The rapid growth experienced at the time compelled us to register, which we did in the year 2000 under the Business Registration as a Closed Corporation named COMPUTER ARENA CC registration No 2000/048732/23.  Computer Arena operated for a number of years until now as a stand-alone business, while we also focused on other interests. Our service range extended from ICT related to also include office requirements as it related to printing and posting at the time providing copy paper, cartridges, envelopes and other office and business machines and accessories.

Our next phase was consolidating all of the other interests and skillsets into a viable business venture.  As a result, Arena Professional Services, also known as “The Arena Group“, emerged as an overarching group for the consolidation of all of our business interests and ventures.  Arena Professional Services officially started to operate in January 2019 as Sole Proprietorship.  Over the years we added various complementary components, including emerging Computer Arena with all of its service and technology offerings as part of, we established Shopping Arena / Arts & Crafts Arena out of necessity to manage the emergence and inflows of eCommerce Platforms, with our own offerings, and our latest addition was the provision of Stationery as Arena Stationery Supplies to consolidate office and related requirements of which some was previously offered via Computer Arena.   Having these separate brands assists with commodity focus and streamlining specifics for our clients.

Effective 13 April 2021, our Sole Proprietorship which operated as Arena Professional Services and Computer Arena have now been fully registered as a private company with CIPC with registration number 2021/542813/07.

The same business, the same people, the same skillsets and offerings.  Just our various incorporation transitions over the last 20+ years.

Our model aims to provide stationery to businesses and schools in particular at discounted prices for bulk-buy orders.
The more you buy, the less you pay, but we are also ensuring that we keep prices competitive with the mainstream outlets for the ordinary consumer. If you want to save more. Simply appeal to your school to order in bulk and you can have it at a wholesale price. Its a matter of economics, price vs quantity.

I ordered a grade one stationary instead of grade 2 in Jan the 4th if not mistaken about the date. I call and the guy was able to assist with the amendments. I have a refund of R300+ which was supposed to be made on the same month, upto this day, there is no refund made and no feedback on Whatsapp and emails. I attempted to call them again but no answer. I am not sure if I am the only one experiencing this issue or if there are more people who have not received their refund.

Do not understand the mere 5 star reviews on this business, it has been an elapsed time since the 5th January 2024 awaiting my twins stationery supplies from this company and today is dated the 16 January 2024, bearing in mind this is not an overseas delivery where one waits an entire month for your items. The online shopping experience is all star however the deliveries and me contacting them endlessly to no availability nor answering/ late answering on WhatsApp is pure frustrating. I kept being pushed back to say my delivery will be the next day and this coming from the owner/ manager but after follow ups nobody answers a call nada nothing. My kids do not have stationery for their first day of school tomorrow due to the lacking interest of this particular business. I expect my delivery done today even if it's midnight. Edit: The stationary arrived as at 18th Jan 2024, with an apology however I messaged to say my order clearly stated deliver to my home whereas some other parents in my area received it to their home just not us, also a side note that I messaged these guys and ignored me yet again and cherry on top the text books that I paid for has not been delivered AS WELL. Friends and contributors I believe that this is the most terrible supplier in the entire western cape rather take your chances with Waltons and pay a bit more

Do not use this company, they do not answer calls or WhatsApps. And they do not let you know whether there's a delay on your order at all. Tell your fellow parents/schools to use a different supplier.
